Wow..lotta catching up to do. Kay so the tennis banquet on December 19 was really fun. I mean, BJs had really really good pizza and pasta. I had about 4 or 5 slices of pizza if i remember. We were also watching the Laker's game on the flatscreens that lined the restaurant. Anyways, after dinner, we went back to Oxford to watch the slide shows and for awards. The slideshows were totally awesome and brought back many memories from the past months with the girls. After a couple tears and pictures later, Mr. Chang presented us with the awards. I was soooo happy/surprised when I was voted "Rookie of the Year" by the team. That really shot up my pride by a lot!
Anyways, on saturday, Kamille, Johnny, Nick, Phuong, and Fifi went ice skating at Anaheim Ice. It was pretty fun because I got to skate with friends for the first time -- literally, it was my first time skating ever -- What was cool tho, was that I was soooo pro when I got onto the ice. Hehe. After skating, "fast," for a bit, I attempted to turn like a pro, but I ended up on my butt like an amature. That wuz the only time that I fell tho! :D After it was over, we went over to this buffet place called "VIP" for Kamille's pre-birthday party. The food was pretty good, but I loved the ice cream the most. It got kinda wack when I had Sarah try a Crawdad. My first attempt of giving her one turned out to be a failure bc I tried to use my chopstick skills, but I dropped the stupid seafood on the floor. The second attempt turned out the same way, yet I didnt use chopsticks, Sarah just attempted to grab the poor food too late....not my fault. And then when she did have the food, it took sooo long to open the darn thing that we could've made a documentary on the stupid moment. xP Anyways, after that, Kamille was surprised on how close I lived to Disneyland. 8-)
I think Monday was when I started to go bikeriding around the Disneyland area. It's pretty awesome to live that close. And it's always fun to follow people on your bike while they're walking to Disneyland. But some people can be sooo stubborn that they only give you about one foot to bike, between you and the edge of the sidewalk. Grr...Stupid tourists! Anyways, it's always nice to have a nice "picnic" by the backside of the Gardenwalk where not many people enter from. And....there's a nice view of the mountains, which are covered with snow right now.
Wednesday was fun I guess. My parents and I went to Westwood once again to visit my aunt and uncle, who is doing wayy better after receiving his new heart. My cousins and I played lotta games in the game room and messed around in the "play-area," which was meant for childrean younger than us. After visiting them, we returned to Anaheim to spend Christmas Eve with my other cousins and aunts an uncles. Good 'ol Filipino party....like always. And, when it was like, 11:00pm, my cousins couldn't wait to open their presents so they just opened them all and then my aunties made them sing Feliz Navidad over and over and over again. But everything was fun.
****I'll finish this post later because it is really late and I'm really sleepy! Gnite
Till then....
