Lost But Not Forgotten

Wow, haven't written for almost a week. Anyways, recap: nothing happened cept on Tuesday, I went to Disneyland with Johnny and we got some Dream Fastpasses, which totally made him happy, and then I went to Oxford for the wildcard game, which turned out to be against Camarillo, we won (17-1). Nothing happened that was interesting enough to put into the blog yesterday.

So today, we had another drill (earthquake). What was so funny is that when Mrs. Scott came onto the intercom, we all listened in Taylor and then when it was time to duck and cover, we heard random "shaking/rumbling" noises coming from the intercom, so we all thought that that was not the time to duck and cover yet. So, we were just chillin in our desks, and then all of a sudden, it stopped and then we were all confused, and felt like idiots...maybe. So I also made some eye contact with Bullseye. Pretty awesome. Then I had to leave right when cluster started so I didn't get to see the volleyball game, but I heard that the Seniors won.

So tennis was pretty awesome. I slept most of the way to Diamond Bar 'cause I was pretty sleepy from last night and probly gonna be the same tomorrow morning. So we played the Walnut Mustangs, and we were just making fun of the name. Perhaps, they could be called the Pecan Pandas or Peanut Elephants...you get the deal. I was playing at OA's #2 seat again. My scores: #1 (0-6)got bagled, eww, #2 (2-6), #3 (6-3). So pretty nasty turn out for me today. But in the end, we lost (7-11). Close though, but not enough to go on to the next round in CIF. So in other words, that was the last game of the season, so no more practice until spring. So to celebrate, we all went to Souplantation....and sang happy birthday to Kimberly since she was turning 17 today. Paulina took soooo many random pictures, but it was all fun in the end.

I was full and sleepy after dinner. Nothing really to look forward to now, since there is no more tennis, although, there is still the tennis banquet. We're still undecided, but we're thinking either Hometown buffet or Cheesecake Factory. I know that they are totally different from each other, but it all depends on our budget. So hopefully, we'll have it at the Cheesecake Factory at the GardenWalk, which took freakin 3 years to finally build. But anyways....

A Champion At Heart

French was as boring as always. PE was interesting because we finished our fitness logs and I got a 9:04 mile time, and we finished up playing frisbee. Art was boring, but talking with friends was fun. Laura wasn't there to talk to though. Biology was pretty boring, but I'm glad I was only there for 15 minutes, but it seemed like 30 instead.

Tennis was fun because I beat Rachel (our #3/senior) 9-7. It was pretty close though, but I feel kinda bad because she really wanted to win the game, since this was her last league finals. But as the saying goes, may the best man/woman win. And I guess I was the better player today. So the next round, I played Kimberly (our #1/senior) for 9th/10th place. Although I lost 7-9, I thought that I had accomplished much since starting tennis back way when. In the end, I received nothing but the feeling of accomplishment and glee. Although I received tenth place, its better than not placing at all, because now, I know that I won 10th place among all singles girls in our league. All of the girls were as proud with me as I was with myself because not only did I get 10th place in league finals, but Jessica and I are the only players, besides Rachel Om, that have made it to CIF in their Freshman year. THIS is not only a good thing, but it is a great event in my tennis history. So after that, we left for home and I slept on the way back.

I look foward to tomorrow because its a minimum day and that it's also free-dress day and that it is the end of the first quarter...already! Wow! Well, we still have three more of them to go after tomorrow. Also, I can't wait until Tuesday because I get to go to Disneyland with Johnny and my parents and then it's also the day of CIF for tennis.

Today was filled with happiness and accomplishment and everything is starting to look up now. Today's moral is, no matter what obstacles life puts in front of you, if you push hard enough, your dreams become reality. And this comes from someone who has been there and is passing on her word.

Better Than Before

Yesterday: to sum it up, went to The Grove in LA (had first taste of alligator), did a little sight-seeing in LA (glanced down rodeo drive), saw uncle in hospital..again (he's getting better), and then went bowling at midnight at linbrook lanes. But to sum up the whole day, let's just go with food and eating food and everything to do with food. I mean, every hour, I was like, "mom, I'm hungry.." So I got my food intake to the max yesterday.

Today was different. It was slower, and filled with less fun. So this morning, I went to church again to volunteer at the sunday school. I was having way more fun helping out today than last week. After that, my parents and I went to the block for some shopping. I finally got some boots and then we had some lunch at rubios. After that, my mom and I went to Huntington Beach as always, and then went to the tennis courts so that I could practice for tomorrow's game against Whitney (weather permitting).

I'm soo glad that we added an hour to the day today, now I get to sleep in a little before school tomorrow.

I feel like I'm catching a cold right now, but let's hope not.
